FAQ

Questions we get all the time.

Do we need a data engineer on our side?

No. We handle everything technical during setup. On your side it is business interviews and agreeing on the definitions of your key metrics. After that, the warehouse can be maintained by any data-savvy person powered by Moodree. See the full process.

If GCP works without Moodree, why do we need it?

GCP gives you the infrastructure. Moodree gives you the architecture, models, tests and documentation: the things that turn raw infrastructure into a working, reliable, AI-ready warehouse. Without Moodree you'd need a senior data engineer to do it manually.

What happens to our data?

Your data stays in your own Google Cloud project. We never store or access your data outside of the build process. Credentials are stored in GCP Secret Manager, not in our systems.

Can our team maintain it after handover?

Yes, that's by design. We document everything, use standard Dataform SQL that any analyst can read, and hand over the full Git repository and credentials. You're not locked in to us.

How long does it actually take?

The build itself usually takes about a week. What varies is the discovery around it: a company with one stakeholder and three clean sources is quicker than one with several teams, legacy definitions and a dozen systems to agree on. We tell you what to expect after the first call.
